The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) as the leading sector in statistical development has an important role in coaching to increase data literacy at the village level so that data management and utilization for village development can be strengthened. The 2024 Beautiful Village Program is designed to generally aim to:

Increase literacy, awareness and active role of village/sub-district officials and the community in carrying out statistical activities; Standardization of statistical data management to maintain the quality and comparability of statistical indicators; Optimizing the use and utilization of statistical data so that development programs in villages/subdistricts are right on target and establishing statistical agents at the village/subdistrict level.

Beautiful Village Development Output: Implementation of statistical management activities in villages/sub-districts; Availability of statistical output in the Village/Subdistrict; Establishment of Statistical Agents in villages/districts that have received statistical guidance; Award charter for organizing statistics in villages/sub-districts and selecting the Best Beautiful Village
