Abstract

This publication specifically discusses GRDP according to the expenditure/final demand approach. This approach is broken down into several components, namely: Household Consumption Expenditure, Consumption Expenditures for Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households, Government Consumption Expenditures, Investment (Gross Fixed Capital Formation and Inventory Changes), Foreign Exports, Foreign Imports, and Net Exports Between Regions (exports between regions minus inter-regional imports). GRDP data in this publication and subsequent publications uses the 2010 base year, and has implemented the 2008 System of National Accounts concept as recommended by the United Nations.
